    The Welcome Reception will be held at Hwangnyongwon, a training center for moral culture and education of awareness inspired by the historic Hwangnyongsa Temple, one of the most significant Buddhist sites of the Silla Dynasty. Hwangnyongwon is conveniently located within a 10-minute walking distance from Hilton Gyeongju.

Excursion

Experience the rich history and cultural heritage of Korea with a guided excursion to Gyeongju’s most iconic UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Taking place on June 15, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, this full-day tour offers an immersive journey through the ancient capital of the Silla dynasty.

Morning

Bulguksa Temple & Seokguram Grotto

Begin the day with a visit to Bulguksa Temple, a masterpiece of Silla-era architecture and one of Korea’s most celebrated Buddhist temples. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Bulguksa is home to Dabotap and Seokgatap pagodas, as well as intricately designed wooden structures that reflect the artistic and spiritual achievements of the 8th century.

Next, travel to Seokguram Grotto, a stunning stone temple nestled in the mountains overlooking the East Sea. This 8th-century grotto houses a magnificent granite Buddha statue, widely regarded as one of Asia’s finest Buddhist sculptures. The serene atmosphere and breathtaking craftsmanship make Seokguram a must-visit cultural treasure.

Traditional Korean Cuisine

Enjoy a carefully selected meal at a local restaurant, featuring Gyeongju’s renowned culinary specialties.

Afternoon

Daereungwon
(Cheonmachong Tomb)

After lunch, explore Daereungwon, an ancient royal burial site featuring the grand Cheonmachong Tomb (“Heavenly Horse Tomb”).

The site is home to impressive grass-covered burial mounds of Silla dynasty royalty and aristocrats.

Inside Cheonmachong, visitors can view a replica of the tomb’s interior, displaying exquisite golden crowns, intricate burial artifacts, and the famous "Heavenly Horse" painting, a remarkable glimpse into Silla’s rich culture and craftsmanship.
